My Beloved Belinda,
Funny Haikus, ugly pictures, and countless inside jokes aside, I just wanted to write you something a little more serious. Though, who am I trying to kid? This will most likely turn out to be as jokey and inappropriate as ever, but I'll try my best.
Where do I even start with you, missy? It really is a shame that we have not met way sooner. According to Andrew's impeccable record keeping, you came into "our lives" on March 17th, but I never really got the chance to hang out with you much, let alone get to know you a little better. Then, I go off to Spain to have sex with strange Spanish men, and I hear of all of these fun things that were happening with a "Belinda" character. "Who the hell is this Belinda character, and why do I not know her or hang out with her," I asked myself. It wasn't until later that year that we started hanging out a wee bit. Then of course, GoG was officially formed, and the hanging out sessions fell out of the sky.
We've had many good times together, and I'm sure that there are many more good memories to come. However, I can't lie and say that the time you and I spent together was more than enough. I want you to stay. I want to create more inside jokes! I really want to bake more fistful of fries for you to enjoy.
But I understand. I understand that we all have to start our new chapters in the book of life. You'll be starting yours come August, and I come January. I just wanted to remind you that even though you are starting a new life elsewhere, I (and the rest of GoG) will be waiting for you to return and pick up the life that you left here with us.
Until then, I want to wish you the very best in all of your future endeavors. I very much so hope to see you again soon.
